McLaren Driver Oscar Piastri Could Equal Ayrton Senna’s Record at Imola

The last McLaren driver to win three consecutive races was Mika Häkkinen in 1997-1998. The Finnish legend won the final race of 1997 in Jerez, followed by victories in the first two races of 1998 in Australia and Brazil.
If Oscar Piastri manages to claim a fourth consecutive win, he will become only the second driver in McLaren’s history to achieve this feat. The other driver to accomplish this was the legendary Ayrton Senna, who began the 1991 season with four consecutive victories.
