Mercedes Finalise W16 Upgrades

Ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix, Mercedes Team Principal Toto Wolff outlined the team’s objectives for the upcoming weekend in Zandvoort and confirmed that development on the current W16 car has concluded.

Toto Wolff:
“We’re excited to return to racing this weekend in Zandvoort. As we enter the final stretch of the season, we’re also approaching the conclusion of the current era of technical regulations. Our goal is to finish the season strongly and consistently.

There are ten demanding races ahead, and we remain committed to fighting for second place in the Constructors’ Championship. At the same time, we’re already shifting our focus toward preparations for the 2026 season.

While we won’t be introducing any further major updates to the current chassis, the progress we achieved in Hungary has given us a solid platform to build on through the rest of the year.

We’re also delighted to see Doriane Pin back on track this weekend in F1 Academy. She currently leads the Drivers’ Standings, and we’ll be fully supporting her in the final three rounds as she competes for the title.”
