Lando Norris won the sprint qualifying session in Miami, on a circuit where he claimed his first career victory two years ago. The British driver from McLaren appears to have found a strong rhythm at this venue and feels particularly confident on this track.
Norris stated that the result was a strong reward for the team’s efforts and recent upgrades to the car. According to him, the car immediately demonstrated good balance and tyre grip, with the new developments meeting expectations. He also noted that he felt confident and stable behind the wheel from the very first laps.
He added that he enjoys racing in Miami and likes both the circuit and the atmosphere, emphasising that although the weekend has only just begun, it has started in the best possible way.
