Joshua Durksen claimed a memorable victory in the Formula 2 Sprint at Monza after starting seventh on the grid. The Invicta Racing driver produced a determined drive through the field, picking off his rivals before taking the lead and securing his seventh F2 victory.John Bennett made the most of his unexpected pole position after several penalties reshaped the starting order. The Trident driver held the lead through the opening laps, but Durksen eventually launched a successful attack to move to the front. Bennett maintained second place to secure a strong result, while Oliver Goethe completed the podium.The race was interrupted by two Safety Car periods. The first followed Rafael Câmara’s spin at the opening chicane, while a late incident involving Roman Bilinski brought the Safety Car out again with just four laps remaining.Durksen handled the final restart perfectly and kept his rivals at bay to take the chequered flag first. Behind him, Nikola Tsolov finished fifth for Campos Racing, gaining valuable ground on his championship rivals and extending his lead in the standings.
