Italian fans enjoyed a truly successful day: Kimi Antonelli secured victory at the Japanese Grand Prix, while later Marco Bezzecchi won the MotoGP United States Grand Prix in Austin.
Riders from Aprilia Racing dominated the event, achieving a one-two finish alongside Jorge Martín. Bezzecchi now leads the championship, having won all three races of the season.
An additional source of pride came from Jannik Sinner’s triumph at the Miami Masters, where he publicly congratulated Antonelli during a live broadcast.
Antonelli later revealed that he had wished both Sinner and Bezzecchi good luck the day before, and they, in turn, noted that his support gave them extra confidence.
