Arvid Lindblad, a rookie driver for Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, took part in demonstration runs at the Red Bull Moto Jam in Delhi.
The young driver, who has Indian heritage, performed in front of fans at the India Expo Centre in Noida and completed several laps behind the wheel of the championship-winning Red Bull RB8, the car with which Sebastian Vettel secured the 2012 title.
Lindblad said the opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car in India was a special moment for him ahead of his debut in the championship, adding that the event was a perfect way to begin the season before traveling to Melbourne for the opening race.
