Football Stars at the Monza GP

The 2026 Italian Grand Prix at Monza attracted an impressive group of football stars, adding further glamour to one of Formula 1’s most iconic race weekends.Among the  guests were Lautaro Martínez, Hakan Calhanoglu, Yann Bisseck and Curtis Jones of Inter, with Alessandro Bastoni also making an appearance. Bayern Munich were represented by Joshua Kimmich and Serge Gnabry, while Sandro Tonali attended as a Newcastle United player. Ferran Torres was also among the football personalities present, alongside Cesc Fabregas of Como.The visitors followed the action from the Monza paddock, where they met members of the Formula 1 community and other sporting celebrities. Their presence underlined the strong relationship between Formula 1 and football, with the Italian Grand Prix once again attracting some of the biggest names from the sporting world.The weekend ultimately belonged to Kimi Antonelli. Starting from 19th on the grid, the Mercedes driver delivered a remarkable comeback to claim a historic home victory. In front of a passionate Italian crowd, Antonelli produced one of the standout performances of the season, adding an unforgettable chapter to the 2026 Italian Grand Prix.
