Ferrari Confirms New Power Unit Upgrade for Leclerc and Hamilton at Italian GP

Ferrari will introduce its latest power unit upgrade at this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix, with Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton both set to receive the updated specification.Ferrari Team Principal Frédéric Vasseur confirmed the move ahead of the team’s home race at Monza, where the Scuderia will aim to turn its latest technical development into a competitive advantage.Monza is traditionally one of the most significant events on Ferrari’s calendar, with thousands of tifosi expected to provide strong support throughout the weekend. This year’s race will also feature a tribute to Michael Schumacher, whose achievements and legacy remain deeply connected to the team.Vasseur stressed that the upgraded power units, developed under the ADUO programme, are intended to deliver a further performance gain. With the field closely matched, even a small improvement could prove valuable over a race weekend. The high-speed Monza circuit places considerable demands on the power unit and overall package. Ferrari will therefore focus on maximising the new specification from Friday onwards and ensuring both drivers can extract its full potential across the weekend.
