Last year, the film F1: The Movie, featuring Brad Pitt, received a BAFTA. At the ceremony organized by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the picture was nominated in three categories and won in the “Best Sound” category. The award was presented to sound engineers Gareth John, Al Nelson, Gwendolyn Whittle, Gary Rizzo, and Juan Peralta.
The film had previously earned nominations for the Academy Awards, including “Best Picture.” The awards ceremony will take place on 15 March 2026 at the Dolby Theatre.
